“I just love the farm shop and the cider barn. Many varieties of cheese, hot delicious pasties and extra-large eggs are just a few of the items in my basket when I visit. Oh, and meat from the butcher too. Lovely.”

Sussex Cheeses
Chat cheese with our knowledgeable deli team to find the ultimate addition to that special cheeseboard, perhaps High Weald Dairy’s – Sussex Marble, Brighton Blue or St. Giles, Traditional Cheese Dairy’s – Scrumpy Sussex, Lord of the Hundreds, Olde Sussex or Burwash Rose, or Nut Knowle Farm’s – Sussex Yeoman, Wealdway or Gun Hill Smoked. We also have great cheeses from the rest of the British Isles and further afield. And great cheese deserves a great biscuit, or cracker, or wafer, or oatcake and we have a huge range. Why not try our own Middle Farm chutney as an accompaniment and if you need something a little special to pair, by way of port or sherry, we can help with that too.
Seasonal fruit and vegetables
An astonishing range of distinctively rich tomatoes are supplied by growers like Gary Griffiths of Nutbourne Nursery.
Fresh-cut and slender, our asparagus spears come from local growers in Little Horsted.
At apple harvest each year we WOW our visitors with a glorious array of locally grown fruit of the highest quality from well-established growers like Chris Dench in Flimwell, David Knight in Pembury, and Matthew & Carol Wilson in Robertsbridge.
Love apples? How about something with a little more… zing?
