Middle Farm Policy
We love dogs at Middle Farm, but, unfortunately, we can only allow assistance dogs into the Open Farm, or inside the tearoom and shops.
This is because of the need to ensure the welfare of our farm animals, the general safety and hygiene for our other guests and the expectation that assistance dogs are trained to the highest levels to support others.
Therapy / emotional support dogs are not allowed. Therapy dogs in the UK are not considered to be assistance dogs – this is because an assistance dog is trained to perform specific tasks to help a disabled person and are usually qualified by one of the charitable organisations registered as members of Assistance Dogs UK.
* Free Entry to Carers – Requirements
We offer free entry for one carer accompanying a paying visitor who can provide evidence of one of the following:
Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
Attendance Allowance
Access Card with the Essential Companion (+1) symbol
I-go Card
Compass Card
National Disability Card
Care for The Carers Card (ESCC)
Carers Support (WSCC)
Please note the evidence provided must be dated within the last 2 years. Such evidence must be shown to staff at our entrance gates. If evidence is not present or not in date, the full charge for entry will be required. Carers must be 16 years or older.
