Part Time Sales Assistant - Cider Barn

Job role

To work alongside the Cider Barn team to provide a warm welcome to all visitors with the highest possible levels of customer service and stock presentation in order to actively promote some of the best ciders and perries produced anywhere in the world along with an array of locally produced ales and wines and fine spirits and liqueurs from across the country.

Two days a week: Monday & Friday

Farm Assistant/Activities Coordinator - Open Farm - Full Time

Job role

To work alongside the Farm Manager and Open Farm Team to develop, plan and deliver a varied and engaging seasonal timetable of daily Open Farm Events. They will coordinate with the Marketing Manager to ensure the timely and effective promotion of Open Farm activities, with the aim of driving tickets sales. In their work on the farm, they will assist the team with daily routines and animal care.

This role would suit someone who enjoys organising and planning engaging activities and events, while also having a genuine passion for working hands-on with animals. The ideal candidate will be creative, confident with people and equally happy supporting daily animal care and farm routines, helping to deliver a high-quality and memorable experience for Open Farm visitors.

Hours of work

Five days a week: Monday to Friday

8:30am to 5:00pm.

Tearoom Supervisor Maternity Cover

Job role

To supervise organisation of staff effectively and efficiently, to provide excellent customer service, to prepare and present food and drink to a high standard, and to maintain the professional presentation of tearoom, tearoom courtyard and the wider business at all times.

 

Hours of work

Normal working hours are Sunday to Thursday (Friday and Saturday off), 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Open farm assistant volunteers

Job role

Main purpose of job: Best possible care of animals and visitors.

Our volunteers get really involved with all the general tasks on the open farm, making volunteering here valuable as part of an educational placement or to gain experience.

Hours of work

8.30am till 4.30pm (Summer Hours)
8.30am till 4.00pm (Winter Hours)
