It’s time to pop a cork and toast something special! Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just wine-curious, now’s the perfect time to explore what English vineyards (especially our local heroes) are doing.
If you’ve never tried English wine, you’re in for a treat. It’s crisp, fresh, and seriously underrated!
In our Cider Barn and Farm Shop, we stock wine from various parts of the UK – in particular, beautiful wine from our Sussex neighbours.
Thanks to the unique climate and chalky soil (yep, the same stuff as Champagne), our local winemakers are producing some of the best sparkling wines in the world, plus light, refreshing still whites and juicy reds too.
Many of the wines we stock come from family-run vineyards —names like Ridgeview, Albourne Estate, Breaky Bottom, Tickerage, Winklestone and Bolney. These producers are passionate about making world-class wine while staying rooted in our local landscape.
