We are so happy to welcome three alpacas to our Open Farm!
Three – friendly, very cute chaps who are currently in isolation for 6 weeks, while they make themselves at home and become friends with our farm team.
It is standard practice when introducing a new animal onto a farm, to keep them in isolation. This practice is designed to prevent the introduction of pathogens, parasites, and illness that are not already present on the farm.
The good news is that the alpacas will be out of isolation in time for February Half Term!
